Served as the lead full-stack architect and engineering resource under the Mindgrub umbrella to build and launch the next-generation platform for the American Institute of Architects on Drupal 10 hosted on Pantheon. Responsible for translating Mindgrub’s high-fidelity UX/UI designs into an enterprise-grade digital ecosystem, establishing the core technical architecture, and overseeing full-stack development through to successful launch.
Key Contributions
- Full-Stack Technical Leadership
Directed the core engineering execution for the platform build. Architected the Drupal 10 configuration, developed custom modules, and established the development patterns for frontend and backend tasks, delegating targeted sprint deliverables to supporting team engineers.
- Component-Based Design System
Translated complex creative layouts into a highly modular, reusable layout framework. Engineered custom paragraphs and component blocks that perfectly preserved design guardrails while providing content editors maximum layout flexibility.
- Custom Internal Ad Infrastructure
Architected and deployed an integrated internal advertising and sponsor-placement system. Designed custom entity configurations and delivery logic to let administrators easily manage and schedule promotional placements directly within the native Drupal administrative interface.
- Enterprise Performance & Accessibility
Built the frontend theme with strict adherence to modern web standards and accessibility compliance (WCAG), optimizing template rendering and asset loading to ensure fast performance across a vast content network.
